Do I need to have my Concealed Carry License before taking a lesson or class?

Definitely not! You do not need a CCL in order to take a pistol lesson or class. In fact, we encourage you to do training BEFORE purchasing a gun or getting your CCL.

Will a private lesson or class assist in obtaining my Concealed Carry License?

No, a Concealed Carry License can only be obtained by reaching out to your local county contact and going through the CCL application process. We are more than happy to give guidance on how to obtain your CCL through the proper channels though!

Will I receive a HB1143/I-1639 certificate for the Washington Firearms Safety bill?

Yes, you would qualify for the HB1143/I-1639 certificate. If you would like or require one after you have completed your training, please let us know in advance.

How should I dress for my lesson or class?

Dress for the weather, but please make sure you are wearing closed toe shoes and avoid low cut shirts. The pistol range is covered, so we will be protected! We also encourage you to bring a baseball type hat. Remember to be comfortable!

Can I bring my own pistol to my lesson or class?

Definitely! If you choose to bring your own pistol, please make sure you bring it in a proper case and UNLOADED. Please also bring 50 rounds of your own ammunition for the caliber of your gun.

Is it ok if I don't own a pistol yet?

Absolutely! The lesson and class fees cover the use of our firearms.

Do I need to bring ear and eye protection?

If you already own your own ear and eye protection, then sure! If not, it is totally fine because the lesson or class fee includes the use of our eye and ear protection.

Is there an age requirement for lessons or classes?

We now accept students as young as 12 as long as a parent or guardian is present at the lesson or class.

Where are lessons and classes held?

We conduct all of our lessons and classes at Tacoma Sportsmen's Club in Puyallup, WA. We are a proud onsite training partner at their shooting range!

What should I do once I arrive for my lesson or class?

We will send you specifics and instructions 48 hours prior to your lesson or class.

What type of payment methods do you have?

We accept credit card payments through GoDaddy for your deposit. We can take credit card payments on site as well as checks and of course cash!

What if I am pregnant?

If there is a chance of you being pregnant, we strongly recommend you wait until after the baby is born due to the high lead and heavy metal exposure as well as high decibel sounds that can impact the development of an unborn baby.
