Definitely not! You do not need a CCL in order to take a pistol lesson. In fact, we encourage you to take a lesson BEFORE purchasing a gun or getting your CCL.
No, a Concealed Carry License can only be obtained by reaching out to your local county contact and going through the CCL application process. We are more than happy to give guidance on how to obtain your CCL through the proper channels though! Since these are private lessons and not a basic pistol group class, it does not qualify for a Basic Pistol Certification. Ask us how we can help you obtain a certification!
Dress for the weather, but please make sure you are wearing closed toe shoes and avoid low cut shirts. The pistol range is covered, so we will be protected! We also encourage you to bring a baseball type hat. Remember to be comfortable!
Definitely! If you choose to bring your own pistol, please make sure you bring it in a proper case and UNLOADED. Please also bring 50 rounds of your own ammunition for the caliber of your gun.
Absolutely! The lesson fee covers the use of our own firearms.
If you already own your own ear and eye protection, then sure! If not, it is totally fine because the lesson fee includes the use of our eye and ear protection.
We now accept students as young as 16 as long as a parent or guardian is present at the lesson.
We conduct all of our lessons at Tacoma Sportsmen's Club in Puyallup, WA. We are a proud onsite training partner at their shooting range!
